Cindy Larsen is from Birmingham Alabama and is a very active member of Dance Masters of America. She has served the organization as Junior Title Director, National Delegate, Director, Area Vice President, National 2nd Vice President, and National 1st Vice President and President. Cindy is currently Dance Masters of American National Immediate Past President. Cindy is a Nationally Certified Examiner in Tap, Ballet, Jazz and Modern and is on the adjudication circuit for Dance Masters of America and several other Major Competition Companies.

She has been a dance instructor for the past 41 years in the Birmingham area. She is also the owner and director of “Miss Cindy’s DayCare Dance”, a program molding the dance education of young children in day care facilities. Cindy has studied under many amazing teachers in New York and LA and has many students with very successful dance and acting careers in New York, L.A and abroad. She is one of the choreographers for “The Sugar Babies”, an all-adult traveling tap group. Her love for tap has grown into a lifelong career.

Cindy is also very honored to serve on the board of directors for Dancers Against Cancer, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to dancers, dance teachers or members of their immediate family during their medical battle against cancer.

Cindy is married to Rick Larsen and is the proud Mom of 3 amazing children, one of which is serving our country in the Army, and 2 precious grandchildren.
