Laura Williams trained as a competitive dancer in the Dallas, TX area and with Joe Tremaine and faculty in Los Angeles, CA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University and performed across America, Malaysia, and Singapore. As an Actors Equity and AGVA union member she has performed in scores of musicals. Some of her favorite performances include dance captain of Beauty & the Beast, My One and Only, 42nd Street, Pajama Game, and Evita. Laura performed as a Radio City Rockette for nine years in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. After her first year with Radio City, she was promoted to a Rockette swing enabling her to teach scores of Rockette intensives and summer intensives at Radio City Music Hall and across the country. Her additional work in New York City includes production work for Lincoln Center, New York City Center events, and performing in the National Tap Extravaganza at NYC’s Town Hall with Buster Brown, Savion Glover, and Jimmy Slyde. 


Laura’s work as a choreographer has been nationally recognized and includes competitive companies, musicals, charity events, and industrials. She was assistant choreographer for the Miss Universe pageant with singers Seal and Charlie Puth and host Steve Harvey as well as the Miss USA pageant with the Backstreet Boys and host Julianne Hugh. Laura has been teaching for over 25 years and has worked in the studio and competition industry as an artistic director, adjudicator and regional director, studio manager, and studio owner. In 2015 Laura created and founded Ambition Dance Productions in Grapevine, TX, leading the studio to win numerous national awards for a decade. Laura is currently working with the competitive dancers of Dance Industry PAC and traveling the country. Her greatest passion is sharing her love and knowledge of dance while watching the growth of each dancer, and she is truly grateful to work with so many aspiring dancers.
